I found that the T-Account method of learning accounting presented a much easier, less time-consuming method to learn accounting. Debits and credits, receivables, payables, liabilities, asset accounts such as the land account, building accounts, office supplies account, furniture asset account, and the prepaid rent asset account. Debits on the left for increase with AN ASSET ACCOUNT and credits on the right side of the T-Account for a decrease of an asset account.
